We are attempting to find land and portable housing for homeless veterans, in addition we are in need of volunteers to help remedy minor fixes in each trailer, 5th wheel, recreation vehicle and mobile home.
We are also in need of donors, financial backers as well as sponsors and those who can assist in helping locate as well as deliver these units to our allocated land parcels, plus we also need on site supervisors.
We need transport shuttles as well as small, medium and large buses, these are used for example small buses will transport veterans daily to the VA Clinic, Hospital, administration office and doctor appointments shopping as well as job clinics for those seeking full or part time work.
Medium size buses are used for transporting veterans to American Legion functions or VFW functions, also DAV functions and other veteran related activities, plus to other outside activities as needed.
Large buses will be used for charity events to raise money for our needs as well as the needs of each individual in the organization, this could also include going to any entertainment venue, this could be in state or out of state.
We are coordinating efforts with other foundations to assist in getting a car or truck possibly a van for those seeking employment, this will be a priority for unemployed veterans who are seeking work or have found a job, if the vet needs to move to another city the housing utility fund will be used to pay for the deposit on a rental apartment/condo plus first months rent as well as a moving van if necessary, plus a stipend to allow veterans to have a boost in the community with food and other essential needs and services.
Employers who hire veterans through Homes 4 Homeless Vets will be provided with an automatic sponsorship badge and commendation through the public as well as a press release plus a poster to post in employers offices or stores.
